A passenger told a story after she was “tricked” into giving up her seat to a woman who pretended to be injured, only to discover she was perfectly fine.
“Call me a loser.” You are so right. This is what happened,” the angry passenger began the post on Delta’s subreddit.
The unnamed woman explained as they boarded the Delta flight and made their way to her seat on the bus, where she sat in the aisle.
“The window seat to their right was occupied by a man and the middle seat was empty,” she explained. “I had an aisle seat (the seat I like).”

After she moved in, an apparently injured woman arrived with a sling on her left arm.
“She’s twitching and acting like she’s in excruciating pain,” the Reddit poster explained.
“She stopped in my row, told me she was in the middle seat and asked if I wanted to switch seats with her so she could have more room for her injured arm,” she recalls.
Although annoyed, the friendly flyer “inwardly” groaned and agreed to move up and move the seats to the middle.
However, she was shocked to discover that she had been dripped by the woman, who appeared to be pretending to be injured.
“We take off and before I know it, she has her sling off, she has a smile on her face and she’s moving her arm freely,” she recalls in disbelief.
The journey only got worse from there, as passengers on both sides seemed to be in cahoots, according to the Reddit user.
“Then she starts talking to the man next to me at the window, who turns out to be her companion!!!” she exclaimed in disbelief.

“The rest of the flight they talk about me and pass things to me,” she continued.
“Tell me, have any of you ever been so seriously injured on a plane, or do I get the prize?” The Reddit user ended the incredible journey.
Other users reacted to the post in disbelief and offered many suggestions on how to get the woman back to her designated spot.
“Then find a flight attendant, show them your ticket and say, ‘You’re sitting in my seat,'” suggested one user.
‘Prison!! I thought about saying, you know what, I changed my mind. “We can do an exchange or I can ask the flight attendant to move you if you want,” added another.
Another simply replied, “No.”
“My answer will always be, ‘I paid for this seat, I’m not that interested in giving it up,'” one user wrote.
