From tranquil nature retreats to luxury glamping destinations, the annual AA Caravan and Camping Awards have named Britain’s best outdoor accommodation for 2024.
According to the AA, the winners represent “an ideal destination for the 16.7 million camping and caravanning trips” taken in the UK each year. The awards went to 12 sites across the country, hand-picked by AA inspectors who judged them for their “exceptional quality and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction”.
Awards included Glamping Site of the Year, Campsite of the Year and Most Improved. AA Media managing director Simon Numphud said the winners demonstrated “unparalleled quality” and a “commitment to ensuring their guests’ experiences are truly exceptional”.
AA CAMPSITES OF THE YEAR

In Wales, Home Farm Caravan Park in Anglesey won the award for its “peaceful rural setting close to Moelfre Beach” and its “first-class” service, run with “passion and enthusiasm”. Inspectors liked the “high and remote location, sheltered by trees” and the “views over the farmland, sea and mountains of Snowdonia”.
REGIONAL WINNER ENGLAND
In north-west England, the crown was awarded to Manor Wood Country Caravan Park in Cheshire, with its “peaceful rural setting” and “sweeping views across the Cheshire plains”, as seen in the photo above.
Inspectors in South East England awarded gold to Ninham Country Holidays (above) on the Isle of Wight, where guests “drive through cornfields” to reach the “very extensive lawns”.
In the regional awards, St Helens in the Park, North Yorkshire, took first place for North East England. It was described by inspectors as “impeccably maintained and meticulously detailed”.

The Holiday Center of the Year award went to Warren Farm Holiday Center (above) in Somerset, which was praised by inspectors as a “comprehensive” and constantly improving holiday park.

The main prize for Small Campground of the Year was awarded Deepdale Camping & Rooms, Norfolk. The eco-friendly site offers 85 parking spaces and on-site bicycle rentals with access to “peaceful walks” near “natural salt marshes.”
Finally, the Holiday Center of the Year award went to Warren Farm Holiday Center in Somerset, which was praised by inspectors as a “comprehensive” and constantly improving holiday park in a “beautiful location” on the coast.
