A flight attendant has sparked heated debate after she said she was asked to make an announcement for a man’s girlfriend after the lovebirds got into an argument.

Vera is a flight attendant from Boston who regularly boasts about her daily routine to her more than 18,000 followers on TikTok.

She recently shared her thoughts on a unique situation that occurred during her work when a boyfriend tried to soothe his girlfriend’s feelings by having Vera say he was sorry over the speaker.

And while the content creator thought it was a nice gesture, people online were divided as they criticized the man for making a “spectacle” about a serious situation.

She regularly shows her everyday life to her more than 18,000 followers on TikTok

“I had a funny experience yesterday during my flight,” she said at the beginning of the video.

Vera says then a “tall” young man came to her and asked her for a favor.

She explained that the “handsome man” said he had a “strange question.”

“He says: ‘So my girlfriend is sitting in the front of the plane, she’s really angry with me now.

“Is there some way we can make an announcement when we land and say, Sarah, Eric is really, really sorry and looking forward to having a great weekend with you?”

“I was excited, I thought it was cute,” Vera said.

Vera noted that although she asked what happened, the anonymous man did not provide any details about their argument.

“I thought it was cute, but I guess it depends on the situation. That would work for me,” she said, before noting that her colleague was unimpressed by the gesture and said the friend seemed to be making a “spectacle” out of her argument.

She expressed her opinion about a situation that occurred during her work, when a boyfriend tried to soothe his girlfriend’s feelings by getting Vera to apologize.

At the end of the segment, the flight attendant asked if viewers were “impressed” by the announcement or if it would make them “even crazier.”
