First of all, the globetrotter says that it is an absolute taboo to start slowly
She explains: “Getting on a plane is a team sport and our goal is to leave on time. Therefore, it should not take more than four seconds for you to store your belongings in the overhead compartment and take your seat.”
If you’re struggling to load your belongings into the luggage basket, Jess recommends asking someone for help if you can’t do it yourself.
Second, Jess addresses the issue of armrests and lack of space.
She tells viewers: “If you have the special luxury of a window or aisle seat, don’t take both.”
“The poor person in the middle only needs one thing, and that’s both armrests.”
Jess’s third pet peeve is chatty neighbors.
She instructs viewers: “Don’t ask your neighbor more than two questions in a row, because on an airplane we always read the room and don’t want to annoy our fellow passengers.”
“If they want to talk to you further, they will ask you a question.”
