He adds, “I keep it in pristine condition… The crew is incredibly experienced and professional… My family thinks of them as family.”

As for the yacht’s name, Hilfiger, who founded his company in 1985, reveals that he changed the name from Faith to Flag in honor of his company.

With a smile, he says, “The reason I changed it is because my company’s logo is a red-white-blue flag and actually I was able to buy the yacht because of my company.”

In a first-person article for GQ Magazine, Hilfiger previously described Flag as his “most prized possession” and his “summer home.”

He said when he’s on board, his favorite seat is on the back deck “because you can see the water from all sides.”

In terms of where the boat sailed, Hilfiger revealed some of his favorite ports including St Barths, Mustique, Saint-Tropez and Portofino.

Monaco is another of the designer’s top venues, welcoming the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid on board for Grand Prix celebrations.

In his recent YouTube video, Yilmazer explains that he was lucky enough to stay on Hilfiger’s yacht while she toured the Bahamas and that everything about the experience was “amazing” and “unforgettable.”

Among his highlights were “the food, the picturesque views and the hospitality of the crew on board”.

The Turk shows his camera crew around the yacht, taking his time to present each area.

The main salon, the formal dining room, the guest cabins and the owner’s cabin are some of the places he digs into.

Many of the rooms have TVs that are not visible.

One is hidden behind a panel in the saloon bar, one hides behind artwork in the same room, and another appears at the foot of the bed in the owner’s cabin.

Other luxury features include underfloor heating in the bathrooms, natural stone details and lights on the clothes rails in the ‘super roomy’ walk-in closet next to the owner’s cabin so guests can see their clothes in the dark.

Meanwhile, a cabinet in the main salon houses an extensive whiskey and cognac collection, including a Glenlivet Archive 21 Yr ($300), a Remy Martin Cognac Louis XIII ($4,500) and a Hennessy XO Cognac ($200).

For cigar lovers, another temperature-controlled cabinet offers some of the best sandwiches.

Yilmazer also visits some of the less glamorous parts of the motor yacht, including the wheelhouse, engine room and crew quarters where 17 personnel live.

So that both crew and guests can comfortably navigate through the four levels of the yacht, there is an elevator that runs from floor to floor.

Alternatively, there is a ‘phenomenal’ sweeping wooden staircase.

On the way out there are several al fresco dining areas and a large hot tub on the sun deck with a glass barrier for swimmers to enjoy the view.

Another notable feature is a pizza oven, which Yilmazer says is rarely seen on yachts.

Technically, the yacht has a cruising speed of 15 knots per hour, while the top speed is 16 knots per hour.

At cruising speed it consumes 500 liters per hour.

According to Luxury Viewer, this means the yacht will cost about $2,500 per hour, which works out to about $31,000 for a 12-hour run.
