A globetrotting couple sold everything they owned and quit their nine-to-five jobs to travel the world and share their adventures.
Dylan Evans, 30, and Adriana de Pertis, 33, met in 2018 and bonded over their love of travel and a desire to escape the British weather.
The couple saved for two years before following their dreams and were earning around £1 a day when they finally started travel vlogging in 2020.
Now, they say, they’re working harder than ever to maintain their channel and have built up hundreds of thousands of followers.
They earn more than ever – and they wouldn’t have it any other way.

After meeting, the pair soon began planning big adventures together, with Dylan working in data warehouses and Swedish-born Adriana as a dental therapist.
After saving £32,000 in two years, the couple quit in 2020 to start their own YouTube channel, 2Passports1Dream.
The first blog was published in late 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The couple was able to share their experiences in Asia in rather unique circumstances when borders reopened.
They have continuously taught themselves the video skills needed to thrive in a competitive vlogging field.
And it worked. The couple quickly reached 120,000 subscribers after sharing their adventures in Singapore, the Philippines, Cambodia and Thailand.
Dylan, from Cardiff, Wales, said he always knew the 9-5 shot wasn’t for him.
But he said travel isn’t always glamorous, as the pair often work more than 10 hours a day to keep up with the constant process of filming, editing and posting.
Dylan said: “At first our social media accounts didn’t make any money at all.
“The first day we made money on YouTube we were excited to make around £1 a day.
However, it felt like much more.
“It was a pound we made for ourselves doing something we love.
Since then, our monthly earnings have increased, although they can vary greatly based on location and the frequency of our posts.
“We are lucky that we now make more than we did with our 9-5 jobs.
“But this travel lifestyle for content creation has many more costs, such as B. Camera equipment, travel, insurance and hotels with good Wi-Fi.
It’s a common misconception that traveling YouTubers simply sip cocktails on the beach and upload the videos themselves.
“But we’ve never worked so hard in our lives and we wouldn’t change it for the world.

“During the savings phase,” continued Dylan, “we had a very tight budget and too many Excel spreadsheets to count, but we managed to save £32,000 in the two years leading up to the trip.
“We can both remember our last day at work like it was yesterday, it was such a huge burden to know that from now on we can be our own bosses.”
Dylan said friends and family didn’t understand her vision at first, but now her loved ones use her channels to keep up with her travels.
The first vlog in December 2020 documented her escape to Thailand during the pandemic.
Some of her most popular videos include trying the spiciest dish in Bangkok and buying the world’s cheapest suit in Vietnam.
They share tips and tricks with followers and recently managed to fly business class on Singapore Airlines for just $10.
In addition to vlogging, the couple maintains a blog on their website with tips for travelers ranging from insurance to travel card options to VPN options.

Dylan, who also runs a digital branding agency, said: “As nomads we travel light, constantly changing countries and hotels.
“It’s not easy for us to make friends along the way because we’re always on the go, but we try to stay connected through social media.
“Being away from family and friends for a long time is challenging and we often don’t see them for a year.
“During the pandemic we were away for nearly two years before finally returning to the UK and Sweden for a month.
“It is difficult, but we are working hard now so that we can afford to go home more often in the future.
“I have type 1 diabetes, which is a constant battle even in real life.
“When I travel to hot climates, I worry that the weather won’t ruin my insulin and that I’ll be away from home so long that I have to keep a close eye on my medical supplies.
“Fortunately, my supportive family is always there to help.
“My brother sends me more insulin in the mail when my insulin is low, which is a lifesaver.
“Without him we would have to fly home much more often.
