Beautiful images were taken in London’s Bushy Park of the most beautiful and roaring deer, bathed in the golden light of dawn.
Footage shows the deer roaming freely in the park, enjoying the warmth of the first rays of the sun on a cold London morning.
There are currently around 320 deer in the park and their grazing is essential to maintaining the high wildlife value of the park’s grasslands.

These photos were taken by Marc Freebrey, 48, with a Nikon D850, Nikon Prime 500mm lens, f/8, 1/2500 sec., ISO 1000.

“You can see and hear the deer roaring as they try to get female attention.”
He added: “It’s exciting to be around them, but you have to be constantly aware of your surroundings and make sure your deer or mother and calf are not in the way.
“It was as exciting as it was scary
“People often don’t appreciate the effort and dedication that goes into it, and on this occasion I traveled a total of six hours to shoot.”

Bushy Park is one of eight royal parks in London.
It covers more than 1,000 hectares and is home to a wide variety of plants and animals.
The park became a royal park when it was given to Henry VIII by his adviser, Cardinal Wolsey.
Red and fallow deer have roamed freely in the park since the lands were given to Henry VIII to hunt.
For safety reasons, it is recommended to stay 50 meters away from the deer at all times.
