Two women in Singapore turned the tables on a strange man who harassed them near a residential complex, chasing him away until he fled while shouting an apology.
The incident was reported by the Singaporean digital news outlet Mothership after one of the women recounted the confrontation on her TikTok account.
According to the user's account, she and her friend had purchased ice cream and sat down to chat on a bench situated near a residential building. Shortly after they sat down, a man appeared nearby and walked around their bench several times before approaching them directly.
The man then asked the women if he could pay them to do something for him. Although her friend shouted at the stranger to get away, he continued offering them money and asking for their help before he eventually walked off.
Confronted by a Stalker
Seeking to avoid further interaction, the two friends decided to leave the area and move to another location. However, they soon realized that the man was following them while attempting to hide behind structural pillars.
The pursuer appeared nearby several more times and began recording the two friends on his mobile phone camera. While one of the women wanted to leave as quickly as possible, the other stated that she wanted to take a photograph of the stalker and ask him several questions.
The pair then ran after the man while filming him on their own mobile phone cameras. The pursuer immediately began running away and yelled that he was sorry as he fled. The women were unable to catch up with him.
No Police Report Filed
The TikTok user joked in her post that an ordinary outing to buy ice cream had unexpectedly turned into a chase after a stalker. The friends ultimately decided against filing an official police report regarding the incident, stating that they derived sufficient satisfaction from scaring the man off.
