Russian tourists plan to spend their autumn vacations in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Adler, Sochi, and Kaliningrad, according to travel service OneTwoTrip.

Data provided to Lenta.ru shows Moscow leading all destinations with 17.5 percent of bookings. Saint Petersburg follows with 14.9 percent, while Adler accounts for 6 percent, Sochi for 4.7 percent, and Kaliningrad for 3.5 percent.
Travelers plan to spend an average of four days on holiday during the season. The average cost of accommodation stands at 8,700 rubles per night.
Earlier reports on velvet season spending indicated that Russians want to save money while traveling. Compatriots intend to take longer trips while spending less.
