Beach holiday packages for Russian travelers heading abroad in September have dropped sharply in price, with two-person tours starting from 80,000 rubles, according to published offers from the Association of Tour Operators of Russia.
Minimum prices for package tours with departure dates between September 1 and September 13 fell across nearly all popular beach destinations monitored by the industry group.
The United Arab Emirates and Turkey recorded the largest weekly price reductions. Package tours to the United Arab Emirates decreased by 23.1 percent over seven days, while tours to Turkey dropped by 17.6 percent.
Destination price comparison
Following the price cuts, a beach holiday package to Turkey for two people starts at 80,800 rubles. A similar package tour to the United Arab Emirates is available starting at 84,600 rubles for two.
Travelers looking at North Africa and Southeast Asia face higher minimum entry prices. Trips to Egypt start at 116,400 rubles for two, while package holidays to Thailand begin at 121,700 rubles for two.
On Hainan island, minimum package prices start at 123,000 rubles for two. Tours to Vietnam represent the highest entry price among the surveyed destinations, starting from 152,900 rubles for two people.
Asian market trends
The latest price figures follow an earlier study by the trade group that identified the most economical Asian destinations for Russian vacationers in September 2026.
That earlier ranking placed Thailand at the top of the budget list for Asian travel. At the time of that report, package tours to Thailand began at 123,100 rubles for two people, a price that included return flights.
