The anonymous user shared the images with the Markdowns Addicts Australia Facebook group and bought the Allstar Innovations Drain Wig from Amazon and highly recommended it to others after pulling out more hair.

“Do yourself a favor and put these haircuts in your budget, because they can save hundreds, if not thousands, on long-term plumbing costs. This is a potential account write-up,” he wrote.

“I’m so disgusted with this recovery, but I should be thankful I was able to do the job instead of a plumber.”

In the comments, the woman suggested cleaning the shower hose first and then putting the product down the drain.

The social media post was met with comments from others thanking the woman for sharing the tip.

“Oh my God, I’m getting this!” one person wrote, another said, “The best thing I’ve ever done is that the girl’s hair is so long it’s amazing how much hair she has left.”

“My resident plumber (husband) has it despite complaining about cleaning the drains,” a third wrote.

Another joked: “Lucky I know, it’s wasted and clogs my pipes.”

But others seemed bothered by the thought of having to touch wet, flowing hair to separate it from the product.

“We need this, but you’re cleaning it,” one woman wrote, tagging her partner.

“I’d rather have the plumber do it,” another admitted.
