This is the new IONIQ 6, Hyundai’s new 100% electric model

Hyundai has unveiled the new and highly anticipated IONIQ 6, the new 100% electric model, which promises excellent efficiency. It is described as an electrified streamliner, designed for the best possible aerodynamics and incorporating a wide range of sustainable materials, to reflect the values ​​of customers looking for an electric car.

It is directly inspired by a Hyundai concept car called Prophecy. With an appearance very similar to this prototype, this IONIQ 6 is characterized by its simple lines, which provide a very clean aesthetic. The Ethical Uniqueness design language incorporated into it perfectly reflects Hyundai’s commitment to its customers, the pursuit of maximum energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.

You can choose between two different batteries, one of 53 kWh and another with a long life of 77.4 kWh. It will be offered in both front and rear-wheel drive. the most powerful variant delivers 325 hpwhich can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.

Hyundai has sought to optimize interior space by extending the rear and front. The cabin is fully equipped and sustainable materials have been chosen. Depending on the trim level, different types of materials can be found inside, such as eco-leather or fabrics made from recycled plastics on the seats, organic paint based on vegetable oils on the doors or fishing net mats. The paint used for the coatings of the IONIQ 6 has recycled pigments, which come from tires, and the paint used for the bodywork, with pigments from bamboo charcoal.
