An armless mother revealed how she adapts to caring for her baby, using her feet for cooking and cleaning.

Belgian artist Sarah Talbi from Brussels has learned to live without arms from birth and has shown how she cares for her three-year-old daughter, Lilia, to wash and dress her feet.

To get Lilia out of her crib, Sarah taught her daughter to wrap her arms around her neck and use her core strength to lift her and set her on the ground.

Sarah admitted that she never wanted to talk about her personal life on her YouTube channel where she discusses her art, but started talking after some followers asked her about how she and her husband interacted with Lilia. .

“I was terrified of hurting my baby, so his father took on a lot.

Sarah explained that she could change Lilia’s diaper with her toes, but she trusted her husband to pull her out of her crib until she was old enough to hold onto Lilia’s neck.

Over the years it has become easier for Sarah to take care of Lilia alone.

“By six months, Lilia has transitioned from baby to toddler and things have gotten easier at home, although I still need help with the pram,” she said.

Sarah is very hands-on with her toes and can pick up the blades on her own by holding them between her thumb and forefinger.

Mom also knows how to knead dough with her toes to make delicious pastries for her family.

Sarah washes, uses her feet to rub soap, and has learned to apply make-up, including mascara, with her feet, and also to wear a bra.

To do this, the mother closes the bra with her toes, then inserts her head into it and uses her toe to drag the bra across her chest until it snaps into place.

In another video, the mother shows how she accompanies her daughter to the park.

Lilia, who is old enough to walk, grabs her mother’s arm as they walk side by side. Sarah opens the park gate with her foot.

If Lilia wants to go to the park swings, Sarah can push her lightly with her knee or foot.
