A father-to-be, who takes the entire game system to the hospital while his wife waits 21 hours before the birth starts, has different opinions.
Amber Scott, 28, from Las Vegas, went viral on TikTok when she shared a video of her partner showing herself onscreen after setting up a playstation on the ward.
The clip, which has since garnered 45,000 likes and 3,200 comments, shows her boyfriend playing in the foreground as he lies behind his phone in his hospital bed.
Some viewers were outraged by the situation, some called it a “red flag”, others said they would do the same and not be expected to spend 21 hours just watching their partner.

Amber gave birth to a healthy baby last year and went viral on TikTok after sharing the events surrounding her arrival.
Amber explained the title of the clip, “My boyfriend took the entire game system to the hospital during my 21-hour induction.”
Some reviewers were totally on her boyfriend’s side, explaining that they thought there was nothing wrong with bringing some fun.
One person said, ‘So I don’t see a problem. 21 hours is a long time and guess what, you can drop a remote if needed.
“As long as you give him what he wants and support when needed, it’s fine.
Amber was not upset by her boyfriend’s decision and many of her followers expressed their support and said they would do the same.
Some reviewers thought he had done nothing wrong and guaranteed long and tedious work.
“Hospitals are boring,” one wrote, while another agreed, “I’d let myself be able to watch.”
As the third wrote: “I would have done the same”.
Another supporter asked if he was expected to “stare at her for 21 hours” and said it was probably “fun” to watch.
Others, however, did not see the funny side and felt that Amber’s friend was disrespectful.
“It’s very sad that video games are taking over people’s lives,” said one person.
Another sarcastically said, “Exciting. What will the baby do when he is born? Play while looking after all the kids.
And a third person wrote: “You’re going to raise this child on your own… too busy playing!”
Other reviewers were shocked to see that she wasn’t paying attention to Amber and shared that they found this unacceptable.
