26 June, Day Against Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Smuggling, was established by the UN General Assembly in 1987 to disseminate widely information about narcotic substances, the emergence of painful dependence on these substances and the consequences of their use. Millions of people, most of them young people, face these problems every day, and addiction is a tragedy not only for their own lives, but also for those around them and others.
It is important and necessary to talk about it, and today, together with the public body of the National Anti-Drug Association and the Russian stars, we urge everyone to pay attention to what can affect it.

Addiction is not a sentence. This is a disease that can and should be treated!
There are so many options today that you can find a happy and sober future. The main thing is to seek help in a timely manner and not to turn a blind eye to this problem!
I have always supported and continue to support recovering addicts. Guys, you are amazing because you decided to change your life!
Ilya Bachurin

For me, the issue of combating substance abuse is not only important, but I believe it is a matter of the survival of the nation and all humanity. Shadow mechanisms allow someone to quietly win and someone to die, and I want my children’s futures to be bright, clean, drug-free, and that’s why I think it’s fundamentally important to raise awareness of the drug-fighting problem. We need to help socialize, support people trying to quit drugs. If we do not see this problem in our lives, it does not mean that it does not exist. There is a problem, and it is a huge problem, and the fight against it requires joint efforts, everyone’s attention.

I believe that society should support addicts such as alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, because everyone needs help. We all know that it is impossible to return to normal life without getting rid of addiction, but one must have one’s own desire, come to a decision and have a desire to change one’s life. And these people need support (and we are talking not only about relatives and friends, but also about society as a whole), patience, goodwill and faith that they will be distinguished from others. We often hardly treat people with addictions, special needs, and illnesses: even though society is now healthier, more tolerant, kinder, kinder, as strangers, abnormals, lepers, and each other, we must support, develop and publish it no matter what. The person facing the most severe addiction can and should be supported in his desire to return to a sober life.
If a person has achieved this sobriety, he will have absolutely equal rights with others, he will have the right to a full life, work, existence in society.

I first talked about my secret by posting the “Tsunami” video in December 2018. Neither the press, nor television, nor my friends knew anything about how I grew up. In this clip, I appeared “naked in the square” as they say, throwing all my skeletons out of the closets for all to see, while finding myself all alone in the middle of my main horror room. Never in my life have I been as scared as the day I was released.
I was expecting something but not the next. My father went to rehab for a year for the first time in 40 years of alcohol and drug addiction, and he turned out to be a completely different person.
Her story has inspired others so much that “Tsunami” has turned from a revelation song into a major social project, and today, with the money from the song’s download and the money raised from my page, we ourselves, together with the National Drug Enforcement Association, send dozens of people like my father.
I look back and realize how much our difficult story with my father meant to me! How much he gave to the world!
Addiction is not a death sentence! This is a disease that can and should be treated!

Unfortunately, the problem of drug addiction is one of the most pressing problems of our time, and humanity is constantly inventing more and more new tools and methods for self-destruction. There are new types of drugs every day, some of which immediately start to act on the brain and destroy the personality. Everyone needs to be very careful today. In my personal experience, I’ve met people who, when they have parents, friends, and relatives, can get out of the most deplorable situation (the so-called “complete drug addict”), get up and start living a full life. already lost hope. Thank God I know many such examples and these people are amazing. The thought that they might not be alive is so frightening. Also, unfortunately, I know of examples where a person failed to do this. Supporting drug rehabilitation centers is very important and concerns us all.

I am one of those who think that he was not a drug addict in the past and I am personally convinced of this. I’ve been to multiple camps where these issues have been addressed, and I’ve talked to many people who have been addicted to heroin for 10 years and are now completely clean. I understand that this is a disease of modern society, and even of the world, and today above all it is necessary to direct one’s hatred towards those involved in drug distribution and dissemination. I am a radical drug addict. For me there are no drugs, light or hard, for me there are drugs, and they should all be removed from our lives.
Rezo Gigineishvili

Drug addiction is a big problem. We need to take care of people who are sick. The patient should be treated, not punished. Understand that we are all citizens and responsible for those who cannot resist the yoke of terrible temptation.
Kamil Hajiyev

It seems to me that the basis for the recovery of addicted people is in a society that does not turn away from them. They should not be excluded, they should be with healthy people and follow their example.
Emin Alagarov

Drug addiction is one of the most relevant and important issues of our time. The public, artists, of course, cannot deal with this misfortune directly, but they can and should certainly speak up and support as much as possible those who decide to get rid of this addiction.
Victoria Shelyagova

I think the real world problem is that children and humans no longer mix. The state only sets limits and is not responsible for moral education, so everyone survives on his own. Of course, not every young person has a strong moral preparation, is weak in public, and becomes addicted to inevitability and despair. If a 10-year-old doesn’t know who he wants to be and what to do, they look at him as an outcast, an undecided, unnecessary member of society. The problem is not drug addiction, but psychotropic drugs when everyone takes sedatives (oral drug addiction).
We stopped being human, we stopped being sad, sympathetic, trying to help, everyone became their own and doesn’t care at all why or why something happens to someone else. Yesterday, a man drowned on the beach in Nizhny Novgorod, and people continued to ride and swim, only covering his head with a towel – what can we say about drug addiction when such indifference is everywhere? We are losing more and more of God, and we live worse and worse because of it. In a good sense biblical compassion and mercy have become impractical and unnecessary in our world.
It would probably be more accurate to say that this is a problem that should be prevented “in advance” in the interest of the state for every citizen of the state, rather than being resolved through private individuals after a tragedy in the family.
Tatyana Lutaeva

Dear relatives! If someone in your family is addicted and you’re dying to fight, please don’t give up. Contact experts who know exactly how to help you and what to do.
I’ve been helping addicted people for over 15 years and I know for sure that former drug addicts and alcoholics can be! Believe in yourself and your loved ones! Not all people are drug addicts, but all drug addicts are people!
Alina Guzelnikova
Vice President of the National Drug Enforcement Association

To date, the problem of drug addiction is alarming in its numbers and scale.
The age of a drug addict is getting younger, and modern narcotic substances practically without side effects leave no chance of a full recovery. Until now, many cannot even admit to themselves that they are addicted, and therefore a certain recklessness and complacency pushes the addicted person to even deeper use.
Unfortunately, despite the abundance of content on social networks and the Internet in general today, many still do not know how to help an addicted person and his family; what methods to resort to and what will really help and not just tempt your finances.
That is why we, as representatives of the public, experts and experts presenting this field, believe that the main task today is to inform and unify all fields for maximum effective work. Only by combining the work of state officials, NGOs, experts, stars, media structures will we be able to act as an alternative to what is being imposed on young people today.
The use of narcotics and other prohibited substances is dangerous to life and health!
