Music is an integral part of many movies. It’s hard to imagine a chase in an action movie without an epic melody, or a romantic scene in a melodrama without a touching ballad in the background. Some compositions also emphasize the character of the character and talk about his difficult (or, conversely, funny) life.
“Automatic Orange”

Cult character first invented and described by Anthony Burgess in his novel A Clockwork Orange, then portrayed by Malcolm McDowell in Stanley Kubrick’s film adaptation of the same name.
Alex is a sociopath who robs, rapes and kills for his pleasure. He is aware of the meanness of his actions, but does not want to correct himself – bad deeds are part of his personality. At the same time, she condemns those who dream of recreating it – she herself will not interfere with those who want to be good.
Alex from A Clockwork Orange has many strange habits – he loves milk (often with hallucinogens), trendy clothes, and classical music. His favorite composer is Ludwig van Beethoven. His favorite tune is the Ninth Symphony.
“Good, beautiful Ludwig van!” – Alex recurs occasionally in the movie “A Clockwork Orange”. Some researchers believe that Beethoven’s music for the main character was his sexual addiction. Listening to the composer, he constantly feeds his perverted consciousness, dreams about various disasters, tortures and murders. In the movie, portraits of Beethoven hang in Alex’s room, along with pictures of naked girls, and one of them, by the way, is just above the bed.
“Twilight”

Another character who adores classical music, albeit in a not so perverted format. In the first Twilight, Edward Cullen was 108 years old, so it’s no surprise that his tastes are pretty old-fashioned. And that pervaded almost everything—not least to remember how graceful Edward looked and acted.
Anyone who like us has watched Twilight at least five times remembers the moment Bella came to visit Edward and showed him her extensive record collection. One of them is with compositions by Claude Debussy. In the continuation of the stage, “Moonlight” is played and the couple dances.
In other parts there is not a word about Edward Cullen’s passion for classical music, but the first Twilight is enough to make us understand the vampire’s great love for the representatives of musical impressionism.
“Risky business”

What happens if you leave a 17-year-old at home alone? Maybe he’ll invite a girl over to the house or throw a loud party, or maybe rock and roll in his favorite rock and roll in shorts like Tom Cruise from the movie Risky Business.
The famous scene in which Tom Cruise’s Joel Goodsen dances to a Bob Seeger song has been repeated many times by characters from other movies and TV shows, from The Unkissed to The Clinic and The Flash.
Bob Seeger’s rock and roll composition best captures the character of Tom Cruise’s character. The eternal honor disciple finally took a breath of fresh air, left alone at home, and went peddling despite his parents.
“American Psycho”

Patrick Bateman, brilliantly played by Christian Bale, had great pleasure. She was knowledgeable in fashion, design, beauty treatments (remember how Bateman took care of herself?) and music. So, before killing Jared Leto’s character, he lectured him on Huey Lewis and the News.
Patrick honestly admitted that earlier he did not like the music of the Americans, but after recording the album Sports, everything changed.
“The highest professionalism of the record. Clean fresh voice,” he explained to his victim.
And Bale’s character really liked this band’s lead singer, Huey Lewis. She loved him for his sarcastic sense of humor. But if you remember, Jared Leto didn’t support the dialogue about music. Who knew what his fate would have been had he confessed his sympathy for a rock band? Maybe he would survive.
“Fate’s Choice”

Jack Black not only plays movies but also enjoys music. He formed Tenacious D with his friend, actor Kyle Hess. Genre satirical rock. Jay and Kyle give concerts from time to time and also make parody movies and TV shows about their band.
In 2006, the movie Choice of the Movie was released (how unexpected!), where characters Jack and Kyle formed a rock band (how unexpected!) According to the plot, both of these characters were crazy about the band Dio – and so much so that They talked to the animated poster of the cult group. Yes, very strange. But what else could be expected from the fantasy of these extraordinary actors in every sense?
“HE”

“Play another sad song,” Theodore from the movie “Her” said into his headphones. He mostly listened to indie rock tunes written for the film by Arcade Fire and composer Owen Pallet.
Thanks to the tunes of Canadians, Theodore, played by Joaquin Phoenix, came up with slogans for greeting cards, remembering his eternally sad and old love. The audience also hid the ingenious music of sad moments in life.
