A husband revealed the very British reason why his sex life with his wife is getting cold.
Arguably, a cup of tea is the pride and joy of many Brits.
But unfortunately for this guy, the daily cup of tea he makes for his wife in the morning hinders the intimacy.
In a clipping from a Reddit sex advice column, her husband anonymously confided in Times relationship columnist Suzi Godson.
Not knowing what else to do, the boy wrote: “Every day I take my wife to bed with a cup of tea. She loves this ritual and I like to practice it.
“However, sometimes we have sex in the morning (after I bring the tea) and she stops to finish her cup before it gets cold.
Taking a break from intimate sessions with her husband is not good for her …
“For me, it kills the moment,” he confessed.
“I’m sure our love life would be more passionate if she didn’t take this short tea break.”
The wife’s passion for drinking tea instead of warming up and sweating with her husband certainly sparked laughter from the comments.
One person joked: “If they did reverse cowgirl, she could drink it without risking burning her man.”
Another user laughed: “Respect the drinker, respect the drink.”
A third laughed: “The tea won’t cool in just 2 minutes and 10 seconds.”
Laughter aside, some more helpful users have offered advice on how to fight for the priority over the tea that he himself so lovingly brewed.
This person suggested: “You can get coasters that also keep the cup warm, like a heating pad.”
Someone else advised: ‘Stop drinking your cups of tea.
And, another expressed: “Take it in a thermal mug, it stays hot for hours, even if it usually takes me ten minutes.”
However, this husband isn’t the only one with tea-related sexual problems.
A woman recently shared on Twitter that a guy she was dating ruined her and even stole her tea bags.
He didn’t just use them for his own consumption, he took them to drink with the “other” woman after a hot sex session.
Who would have thought that tea could cause so many sexual problems!
