Millions of Australian parents are ready to buy retro-inspired toys for their kids at this year’s toy craze sale, with pieces inspired by Jurassic Park and the soon-to-be-released new Buzz Lightyear movie.
The sale launched online on Tuesday, with thousands of parents logging into the Big W portal to purchase early Christmas gifts for their kids.
But not everyone is impressed by the changes in terms of sale this year, sneaky commissions on online purchases are a game changer for many.
The hottest toys of 2022 are out, and it’s definitely going to be a very nostalgic year for parents born in the ’90s.

‘Not to mention half of the toys I visited were only available in stores! Why offer an online pre-sale option if we can’t get half of the stuff out there? ‘ said another woman.
The onsite sale is expected to be as popular as ever, despite online sales giving tech geeks a two-day head start as the retailer waits for enthusiastic parents to load their cars in preparation for the crazy season.
