For more than 11 years, several superstitions have emerged about a birthday celebration. We never celebrate the bar’s birthday, June 25. When we decided to do this, the party was not successful. I hope we can make it cool this time – Light, comfortable. We will be pleased to see everyone who wants to congratulate us and have a good time. However, we announce the date later. It will be closer to autumn.
What helped to make the “copper pipes” with a cult place?
Wow, this is a very serious title: “Cult eat.” If we talk about such a high assessment, as in other cult things, luck played a major role in the formation of the case. Especially the team and I have always focused on the project and there was perfectionism about what we did. The impression of guests is important to us. Since the bar is small, it makes it possible to leave as many guests as possible.

When looking for a new member of the team, we look at not only skills, but also how comfortable a person is in the team, whether he is ready to accept the rules that develop here. The bar was created by enthusiasts who love the work “copper pipes”, so it plays a decisive role in recruitment with the team.
We understood the employees. And who is the perfect guest of “copper pipes”? Who do you think of a bar – tourist or local residents visit?
The person who once came to the bar finally becomes a permanent guest. Cool -friendly relationships are developing. But now most of our guests tourists, and this allows us to approach a different job. Now we learn to predict the wishes of new guests from the first words. And this is not always an easy task.
The “Copper Pipes” collection of more than 400 varieties from around the world. And once there are about 70 on the shelf. Why was the Mono -structure aspect chosen? How to make a decision, which drink should enter the collection?
“Copper Pipes” is not a monobar. We have a great range of products. We pay attention to different trend drinks, but again the main passion. The collection began to collect almost from the base of the bar. Collecting is a lot of work. Before you decide which example it is on your shelf, you carefully examine it.
And when it is understood that the drink has a great idea, an interesting potential, you want to get it. This approach is not just for the genie. We keep a constant reserve on the market. This has been developed as a separate guide that we plan to announce in the near future.
Last year, the “copper pipes” published their own demons. What caused you to create your own product? What were your main criteria for the development of taste?
Our respected colleague Denis Dark’s question encouraged us to create our own product: “You learned a lot about Ginah, you have a very large collection. Why don’t you release your product?” We thought and we couldn’t find a single reason to reject it.
The most important idea of creating was the place and desire to show what great pleasures in our local region. We chose Kalina as a local material. Gives a cool and specific aroma. The taste criteria were brightness and saturation. We made a suitable product for cocktails, it didn’t get lost, and we really completed them with its own character.
He received many awards at the bar. What is your main success in 11 years? What motivates you to take action? Which point should be achieved to understand – that’s a success?
“Samurai has no purpose, there’s just a road.” There is no meaning you can understand: “Here is success, you can stop”, we must continue. There is a very cool Japanese continuous healing philosophy called “Kaizen” – any process can always develop and develop. In the early stages, this is super fast and prominent, and then you need to learn how to enjoy small details in terms of ideal.
Didn’t the network of the network at all raise the problem? “Copper Pipes” has already won the love of Nizhny Novgorod residents and guests. What prevents the region from going beyond the region and declaring itself at a federal level?
Our genie is sold in many parts of Russia. I think this is an exit to the federal level. And if we talk about the bars, I would like to open new projects in Nizhny Novgorod, but there won’t be a bar here. For example, there is a desire to try new formats about food and coffee.
