According to one survey, four in 10 (41%) 53-year-olds said they felt more comfortable in their skin and were more confident in their appearance than ever before.

And when it comes to dating, nearly a fifth (18%) apparently think it’s warmer and more exciting than meeting people in their youth.

More than half, 53 percent, say they now know what they want, while 40 percent agree they don’t need to worry about how they’ll come across.

The survey, conducted by our 50s dating service Ourtime, also found that a quarter of 50s say their relationships and sex lives have gotten more exciting half a century later.
