The plot describes the formation of the Bene Gesserit female order. The project was inspired by the novel Sisters of Dune by Frank Herbert’s son, Brian Herbert, and Kevin James Anderson.

The series focuses on two Harkonen sisters who battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and find the powerful Bene Gesserit. They are played by Emily Watson and Olivia Williams. Dune: The Prophecy showrunner Alison Shipker stated that a crucial part of the second season is how the sisters will survive.

The release date of the second season of the series has not been announced yet, but the Dune universe continues to expand. It is known that the third movie of the series and a computer survival game set in Arrakis are also in development.

Meanwhile, the finale of the first season will be broadcast on December 22. The series premiered in November 2024.
