The Continental series, set in the John Wick universe, has gained popularity among viewers and many are waiting for its second season. But the creators of the series have other plans.
Producer Basil Iwanyk said in a new interview that there will be no sequel to the series. Three parts – that’s all Continental has. “We were happy with the first season, and we even talked a little about the second season. But I think there’s a feeling that if we’re going to put something on television in the John Wick universe, the Robert Levine version is what we’re talking about,” Iwanyk told The Direct.
The production team is placing its main bet on the spin-off series John Wick: Under the Big Table. Additionally, the first trailer of “Ballerina” starring Ana de Armas was released recently. The film takes place between the events of the third and fourth parts of John Wick.
The three-part prequel series will air on the streamer in September 2023. Colin Woodell plays Winston Scott, a young man who plans to take control of the Continental Hotel in the John Wick series.
