Linda Hamilton played Sarah Connor in the Terminator movies, and she has become, without exaggeration, one of the most beloved pop culture characters of all time.
At first Linda didn’t understand how she managed to do this. But after a few decades, the actress realized what attracted viewers of different generations to Sarah Connor so much.

According to Hamilton, Sarah remained strong but feminine. Connor didn’t look like a man through the struggles he went through. He was a woman who could show her strength. “You know, they cut her hair like a military man’s hair, so there’s nothing to hold onto. They do that in all the movies. They cut all these women’s hair and I thought, why don’t I just put my hair in a ponytail?” Hamilton was quoted as saying by Collider.
Linda Hamilton played Sarah Connor in the first two Terminator films, then returned to the role in 2019 as one of the stars of the non-canon Terminator 3 sequel, Terminator: Dark Fate.
There have been no other movies made in this universe yet. Linda is sure that she has said goodbye to the role of Sarah Connor forever. However, the actress will appear in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. We wrote about it here.
