The Television Critics Association (TCA) has announced the winners of its annual awards. The victory belongs to the historical drama “Shogun”, which took home four awards.

The big winner took home the following awards: Series of the Year, Best Drama Series, Best New Series, and Individual Achievement in a Drama Series (Anna Sawai). Shogun is also expected to be a major project at the 2024 Emmy Awards. It will take place on September 15, 2024.
Let’s remind you that the Shogun series was previously called the main series sensation of this year. Its success among viewers has become almost phenomenal. In this regard, the FX channel decided to renew it for the second and third seasons, although initially the series was considered as a mini-series based entirely on the famous novel by James Clavell.

Now executive producers Rachel Kondo and Justin Marks are working on a sequel script, as they have no literary sources.
