Warner Bros. Studio has set the premiere date for the fourth installment of The Conjuring. According to Variety, the film will be released on September 5, 2025. It will be the last film in the horror series.
The series includes the main trilogy as well as prequels, sequels, and spin-offs, including “The Curse of the Nun”, “The Curse of Annabelle”, and “The Curse of the Weeping Woman”.
The first “The Conjuring” was released in 2013. Director James Wan and producer Peter Safran talked about the investigation of paranormal phenomena by Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga). Heroes are trying to help a family that was attacked by dark forces in their home. The audience liked the picture, and it became a real hit.
The highest-grossing film was the 2018 prequel The Nun, about Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) battling demon-possessed nun Valek in 1952 Romania.
