The film follows former UFC fighter Elwood Dalton, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. When a restaurant owner finds him asleep in his car, Elwood becomes a bouncer and later runs afoul of local outlaw and biker gangs. The film also stars Conor McGregor, Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, Lucas Gage and other actors. Road House was directed by Doug Liman. The premiere will take place on the Prime Video streaming service on March 21.
Let’s remember that the action movie “Road House”, released in 1989, was directed by Rowdy Herrington. Patrick Swayze played the main role in the film. In 2015, the MGM studio had already planned to make a remake of the film, after which MMA fighter Ronda Rousey was invited to play the main role, and the director was to be Nick Cassavetes. However, the project was canceled in a short time.
