Kim Kardashian never fails to impress on the red carpet, and Monday night at the CFDA Fashion Awards was no exception! The mother of four, 43, hit the carpet in a stunningly form-fitting black leather low-cut dress from Chrome Hearts. Her look was covered in barely visible crucifixes, a truly stunning gothic detail. The dress featured a low back with a sexy buckle and strap and a row of buttons at the back. She accessorized it with a fierce pair of black and sheer platform stilettos, dramatic glam makeup and, of course, a sweeping ’90s supermodel hairdo. Kim posed expertly from every angle, showing off the chic print of the crucifix.
The look was a stark departure from Kim’s look at last year’s event, which included a strapless wet dress and a slicked-back platinum blonde hairstyle. the star of The Kardashians was honored with the Innovator Award for her iconic shapewear company, SKIMS, at last year’s ceremony.

While she rarely misses fashion these days, the style icon admits she’s had her moments. “I definitely regret that style,” she told INSIDER in 2017. “I mean, I wear certain things and I’m like, ‘Why did I wear that?’” At the time, she cited “between 2007 and 2011, 2012 ” as his worst years style-wise.
More recently, he admitted that SKIMS has exceeded all his expectations for success. “You obviously dream big and have high hopes, but this has definitely surpassed anything I imagined, especially when I started as a shapewear brand,” she said. TIME in June.

“I’m also the type of person who never gets too emotional, but there are those moments. I remember walking into a party in Hollywood and there were a lot of people I knew and one of the girls, an actress, literally screamed ‘Skims!’ As soon as I entered the room, someone held up their shirt and said, “I’m wearing Skims!” I don’t know if it’s called impostor syndrome or something, I feel like that all the time, but I think it’s part of what keeps me going. “I never imagined this would be my life.”
