The final trailer for the premiere of The wonders This Friday just fell into the night Monday night football Game between the New York Jets and the Los Angeles Chargers.
Robert Downey Jr. ‘s Iron Man is previewed. and Chris Evans’ Captain America in flashbacks, while Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury says in voiceover, “Heroes, it’s an old-fashioned idea, but the world could still use it.”
Towards the end of the trailer, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie appears in conversation with Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, telling her, “You can stand long without standing alone.”
Walküre was first released in 2017 Thor: Ragnarok. Thompson later reprized her role and appeared in Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Thor: Love and Thunder (2022).
The wonders will be in cinemas from Friday 10 November.
The Marvel Studios film follows Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, as she reclaims her identity from the tyrannical Kree and seeks revenge on the Supreme Intelligence Agency. But unintended consequences contribute to Carol bearing the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her into an unusual wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers merge with those of Jersey City superfan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged cousin, now SABER Astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must work together and learn to work together to save the universe as “The Marvels”.
