Total Recall: What does the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer look like now?

Years pass and cult serials still occupy their deserved place in the tops. We decided to recall the iconic series of the 90s and compare how the actors who played there looked then and now. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the first season of which aired in 1997 and the last season in 2003, was the first series that came to mind.

Sarah Michelle Gellar – Buffy Summers

Sarah Michelle Gellar starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy is one of many young girls chosen by fate to fight evil forces in the form of vampires and demons. Through this summoning, Buffy gains physical strength, stamina, agility, intuition, speed, and ease of recovery, as well as a degree of prudence, which often manifests in the form of prophetic dreams.

David Boreanaz – Angel

David Boreanaz played Angel, a vampire who allies with Buffy and falls in love with each other as they go through many hardships.

Nicholas Brandon – Xander Harris

Xander, played by Nicholas Brandon, is Buffy’s close friend. Lacking any supernatural skills, Xander is a somewhat hilarious starting point for the series.

James Marsters – Virgo

Spike (James Marsters) is a vampire with real character development throughout the series. First the main villain, then the heroine who falls in love with Buffy.

Anthony Head – Rupert Giles

Giles (Anthony Head), seldom known by his name, is an Observer and a member of the Observer Council whose mission is to train the Destroyers.

Eliza Dushku – Faith

Eliza Dushku played Faith the Slayer, Buffy’s evil twin. He befriends Buffy and the gang, but turns to the dark side after several events that left him feeling betrayed.

Michelle Trachtenberg – Don Summers

Dawn, played by Michelle Trachtenberg, mysteriously appeared in season five as Buffy’s brash little sister, and it took viewers a while to figure out where she really came from. Buffy and Don often had rivalries and were in a strained relationship.

Juliette Landau – Drusilla

Drusilla (Juliet Landau) is a beautiful young seer who is driven mad by her father and later lover, Angelus. His mania continued after he became a vampire and swept through Europe and Asia for years.

Mercedes McNab – Harmony Kendall

Cordelia Chase’s boring high school friend who turns into a ridiculously clumsy vampire in later seasons.
