Megan Moroni AND Kylie Morgan appeared on the red carpet at the 2023 CMT Music Awards in the same dress. Both of the country’s rising stars wore green strapless gowns to the April 2 awards show, and both paired them with green strappy pumps to match. No bad omens for the matching look though. Megan took to her Instagram Story after the show to share a photo of her and Kylie posing together with the caption, “2 QUEENS IDC.” Kylie reposted her pic to her page, writing, “A green dress never looked so good lol so proud of you! To my Barbie doll, love your Bratz doll!
It was a big night at the CMT Awards for Megan and Kylie, who were recognized as Outstanding Performers on the show. Both women were nominated in the Female Breakthrough Video of the Year category, with Megan taking home the honor for her song “Tennessee Orange.” Additionally, Megan was given the opportunity to perform on the show as part of the Ram Trucks Side Stage Series. Megan sang part of “Tennessee Orange” during her second stage.
In May, Megan will release her first album, You are lucky. He will also be supporting the album with a tour starting in September. Before that, however, it will open to brooks and dunns tour, while also hitting the festival circuit this summer. Meanwhile, Kylie kicks off her first headlining tour in April, with dates across the country throughout the month. She is also scheduled to play various festivals during the 2023 summer season.
The 2023 CMT Awards took place in Austin, Texas on April 2nd. Kelsea Ballerina AND kane brown and featured performances by some of country music’s biggest stars. Some of the other artists who took to the stage included Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Tyler Hubbard and more.
