We know what to do to ourselves if all the barbecue is eaten, and there is not enough strength for walks. We share the best trilogy in cinema history to save you time searching for new movies!
“Lord of the Rings”
Movies: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
A film adaptation of the works of JRR Tolkien was released simultaneously with Harry Potter, and with it became the basis of the entire fantasy genre. The world of humans, elves, and dwarves is in danger of extinction if the Almighty Ring and its owner, Sauron, are not destroyed. Peter Jackson’s iconic epic garnered a total of 30 Oscar nominations (and won 17), and The Return of the King is still the only film in this genre to win 11 Academy Awards.
“The Hobbit”
Movies: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013), The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014)
And again for JRR Tolkien and its film adaptation, the story “The Hobbit or There and Back Again” for which Peter Jackson was responsible, as in the case of “Lord of the Rings”. The story of Bilbo Baggins and the thirteen dwarfs on their journey to the Lonely Mountain (it’s actually a prequel to The Lord of the Rings) received a total of seven Oscar nominations.
“Return to the future”
Movies: Back to the Future (1985), Back to the Future 2 (1989), Back to the Future 3 (1990)
Science fiction from Robert Zemeckis (“Forrest Gump”) about schoolboy Marty McFly and Doc Brown, the mad scientist who invents a time machine. Together they go to the past, to the future, and again to the past. Perhaps the best trilogy of its kind, it inspired generations to come: For example, the main characters of Rick and Morty are inspired by Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, and the plot is played out in The Simpsons, Family Guy. and other tapes.
“Maze Runner”
Movies: Maze Runner (2014), Maze Runner: Trial by Fire (2015), Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)

“Black Knight”
Movies: Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Probably the best comic book movie ever (Avengers fans forgive us). A Christopher Nolan trilogy starring the unrivaled Christian Bale as the guardian of Gotham. Heath Ledger, who won a posthumous Oscar for his Joker, played one of his last movie roles in The Dark Knight.
“King”
Movies: Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015), Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017), King’s Man Begins (2021)
Manners are the face of a man. This is a comedy spy saga based on Marvel comics about super agents and real gentlemen. It seems like Colin Firth was literally made for the role.
“John Wick”
Movies: John Wick (2014), John Wick 2 (2017), John Wick 3 (2019)
Bloody and brutal action movies starring Keanu Reeves. The plot revolves around a retired hitman who turns to guns to avenge a car theft and the death of his beloved dog. We love the neon scene from the first episode where English duo Kaleida’s song Think by clashes.
“Mad Max”
Movies: Mad Max (1979), Mad Max: Road Warrior (1981), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
In the not-too-distant future, all life will congregate on countless highways. Here, haunted by the ghosts of his past, Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone, but still joins the rebels led by Furiosa. Mel Gibson played the main character in the 1979 movie and replaced Tom Hardy in the fantasy action movie 36 years later. The director’s chair still remains with George Miller, and his attempt to remake the story was a success: winning six Oscars and more than $374 million at the worldwide box office, the film is now considered a classic of the genre.
“Planet of the Apes”
Movies: Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Planet of the Apes: Revolution (2014), Planet of the Apes: War (2017)
Reboot of the famous series based on Pierre Boulle’s novel. At the center of the plot is Caesar, the experimental chimpanzee, who will eventually lead the smarter apes and fight for their place under the sun. Woody Harrelson is incredibly brutal here.
“Godfather”
Movies: The Godfather (1972), The Godfather 2 (1974), The Godfather 3 (1990)
Classical. Crime epic about Al Pacino and Marlon Brando and the Corleone family of the New York Sicilian Mafia. The first two parts of the trilogy won nine Oscars and revolutionized gangster cinema.

“Jurassic World”
Movies: Jurassic World (2015), Jurassic World 2 (2018), Jurassic World: Domination (2022)
There is a new species in the dinosaur theme park. Too clever and ferocious to sit in a cage. Fantastic action adventure by Colin Trevorrow and Juan Antonio Bayon (who directed the second part of the saga) with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
“Spider Man”
Movies: “Spider-Man” (2002), “Spider-Man – 2” (2004), “Spider-Man: Enemy in Reflection” (2007)
Sam Raimi’s classic spider trilogy with Tobey Maguire then made Hollywood believe in superhero cinema. Peter Parker was an ordinary schoolboy, but the bite of a radioactive spider turned his life upside down.
“Hangover”
Movies: The Hangover (2009), The Hangover 2: From Vegas to Bangkok (2011), The Hangover Part III (2013)
If you miss the cool comedies. The Todd Phillips (the same guy who directed Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker) trilogy in which the unique gang of Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bart embark on wild adventures. Who let the dogs out?
“The Man in Black”
Movies: Men in Black (1997), Men in Black 2 (2022), Men in Black 3 (2012)
After the last Oscar, we’re pretty sure Will Smith probably wanted to wipe everyone’s memory from the trilogy with this cunning device. A great action movie about aliens and secret agents who maintain order on Earth.
