In photos from Schiaparelli’s couture show on Jan. 22, the groundbreaking star wore 30,000 red Swarovski crystals, applied directly to the skin of her face, head and body. She added dramatic earrings, an elegant red silk bodice and skirt covered in bright red beading, and finished the ensemble with regal red stiletto boots. Second PEOPLEDoja’s literally crystal encrusted look has been dubbed “Doja’s Hell” and was done by a famous makeup artist. Pat McGrath.
“A pleasure to work with the beautiful @DojaCat and the incredible @DanielRoseberry on the ‘Doja’s Inferno’ look for @Schiaparelli’s FW23 Couture collection,” Pat captioned an Instagram video of the stunning look on Monday 23rd January. “Doja’s sublime patience in the 4 hours and 58 minutes it took to create the #TeamPatMcGrath look, covered in over 30,000 hand-applied @swarovski crystals, was inspiring. The end product was magical, mesmerizing [SIC] brilliant glitter masterpiece. xx.”

Covered in over 30,000 hand-applied @swarovski crystals, ‘DOJA’S INFERNO’ celebrates the essence of couture with sublime, shimmering brilliance.
As dramatic as the visual effects were, this isn’t Doja’s first jaw-dropping fall for PFW. In October 2022, she transformed with gold face and body paint for the AWAKE Mode show. And for her 27th birthday, also in October, she wore nothing but underwear and an extravagant mask to her star-studded lingerie themed party. For Halloween, Doja rocked a sheer dress and leather jacket.
In August, the gorgeous singer took to Instagram Live, razor in hand, to show off her freshly shaved head and brows and explain why she did it. “I feel like I should never have hair anyway,” she said. “I never liked having hair. I can’t tell you once, from the beginning of my life, that I thought, ‘This is amazing. I just don’t like having hair.”
