An airport worker intercepted a drone equipped with a detonator at Leipzig/Halle Airport in Germany, German newspaper Bild reported.
The employee handled the drone without knowing that it was carrying an explosive device. Special services officers and police arrived at the scene 11 minutes after the worker intercepted the aircraft.

The incident previously paralyzed operations at Leipzig/Halle Airport. According to earlier reports, officials discovered the drone near a Ukrainian Antonov aircraft parked at the facility.
