And the discussion the hottest in the history of cinema.
At the end of the Titanic, Could Rose have gone a little further to make room for Jack on the makeshift raft?thus preventing him from dying?
A forensic analysis reproducing the final scene
Because titanic does not seem to have convinced all viewers of the fact that Jack couldn’t have survived on this wooden door turned into a makeshift raft, James Cameron decided to address the issue head on. “We wanted to put an end to all this speculation” told the Toronto sun on his film released almost 25 years ago.
We know that James Cameron never does things by halves. The director then decided to order a scientific study to prove that Jack could not, objectively, have survived. “We did a thorough forensic analysis with a hypothermia expert who reproduced the raft from the film”, explained in the columns of Toronto sun.

Only one could survive
The most skeptical will run out of arguments. After being covered in sensorstwo stuntmen with the same body mass as Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio were submerged frozen water. The conclusion is clear: the tragic outcome was inevitableas James Cameron explained:
“We did some tests to see if they had managed to survive by various methods and the answer was that there was no way either of them could survive. Only one could survive. »
Still not convinced? As always, James Cameron has it all figured out. The director has filmed this experience which will be made public in a documentary scheduled for release in February 2023upon release of titanic !
