“Paul Martin and the Magic Magnifying Glass” Christmas book series for big screen adaptation by Creation Entertainment Media & Magic Frame Animation

EXCLUSIVE: Creation Entertainment Media and Magic Frame Animation announced today that they have teamed up to publish Georges Alexander Vagan’s Christmas book series Paul Martin and the Magic Magnifying Glass for the big screen.

The two production companies will jointly develop and produce the fantasy adventure stories into a film series for the whole family. The first film is scheduled for release in 2025 and the scripts are currently in development.

The family fantasy adventure follows the life of protagonist Paul Martin and his adventures in a wonderful world of Christmas and snow, according to the broad synopsis. Books, e-books and audiobooks have sold more than 100,000 copies of the series worldwide.

Originally written in French, the books and audiobooks are available in several languages, including English, German, Italian and Spanish. There have been five novels written in the series, and a sixth is currently being written by Vagan.

The animated films are based on the extended Paul Martin universe, with the first film largely adapted from the first book in the series. Paul Martin and the Magic Magnifying Glass, about Paul, an 11-year-old boy who lost his father at a young age while simultaneously losing his faith in Christmas and Santa Claus. By chance, he comes across a very powerful magical artifact, the magic magnifying glass, which was stolen from Sinterklaas by his nemesis. Forces of evil and good begin their battle for the young character’s soul.

Creation Entertainment Media and Magic Frame Animation are best known for the Netflix animation feature Secret magical control authority by director Alexey Tsitsilin.

The second called The Order of the Star of Bethlehem returns when Paul has grown up and become a journalist, leading an investigation into a mysterious murder. the third, The Crown of the Seven Kingdoms digs even deeper into the battle between Light, Sinterklaas and Darkness, Paul’s enemy Arius. The fourth finds Paul nearing the end of his life when his legacy depends on his grandson Jean-Pierre saving the world. However, the true meaning of all these stories is that only love can save the world.”
