EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed writer/producer Aaron Carew as a rep.
Carew is co-executive producer on The CWs walker. He writes two drama series for CBS from CBS Studios – the legal drama Carver’s law, which he produces with Martin Lawrence and Sheila Duckworth; and Waita series about the Los Angeles National Guard that he is producing with Franklin Entertainment’s DeVon Franklin.
Carew is also a co-creator and executive producer of a series titled va for A&E, executive produced by Bradley Cooper and Alyssa Milano. Co-created by Marcie Ulin and Meredith Lavender, the series is part medical drama and part war story that explores the challenges veterans face after returning from combat. The story is told from the perspective of the doctors and patients at an underfunded VA hospital in San Diego.
Carew was previously nominated for his work on the second season of Writer’s Guild of America Award in the Original Longform category Dirty Jan. His other television appearances include Spectrum’s LA is the best and Starz’ Powerbook IV: Power.
Entertainment 360 and Lev Ginsburg will continue to represent Carew at Ginsburg Daniels Kallis.
