If there is a festival as accessible as it is prestigiousit’s the Nikon Film Festival!

This short film competition stands out for its immense freedom of tones, themes and forms which leaves to the participants, while being a outstanding trampoline for those who want it pursue his passion for cinema.

To celebrate as it should be 13th yearthe festival has chosen as the theme for this edition the number 13. A number like no other as it is the focus of many mysteries and superstitions throughout the world and through the ages… Symbol of fortune or sign of ominousincarnation of imbalanceobject of fear or on the contrary, confidence… And you, on the 13th, what inspires you?

Like every year, there is onlya rule to present his short film: must not exceed 2 min 20.

Madmoizelle is part of the jury!

This year, Alexandre Astier has been chosen to preside over the jury. The famous creator and executor of Kaamelot announced the color of a promising edition in a video posted to Instagram in October. He will be accompanied by Caroline Anglade, Mariama Gueye, Pio Marmaï, Luciole, François Descraques, Maud Chalard, Romain Quirot, Guillemette Odicino, Pascale Faure, David Bertrand and Alexandre Dino, who will award the Grand Jury Prize.

The good news this year is that Lose is honored to be a member of the Prix de la Critiquemade up of cultural journalists.

To participate, simply register on the Nikon Film Festival website, where the contest rules it’s available. You have until January 25 to register!

CALENDAR 2022 – 2023

● Until January 25, 2023: reception of the films of the participants

● 1 February 2023: screening of the films in competition and opening of voting for the Audience Award

● Announcement of 50 finalists: end of March 2023

● Award Ceremony: April 21, 2023
