ACE in Europe selects 17 producers for the animation workshop

Exclusive: The European organization ACE Producers presented 17 producers who will participate in the third edition of its ACE Animation Special Workshop. Scroll down for a list.

The initiative aims to provide a broad understanding of how to diversify long-term animated films and series for international audiences through film, broadcast and streaming,

It runs from May 30 to June 4 in Dublin, Ireland, and includes sessions on story development, international production workflows, creative animation production dynamics, funding strategies and international distribution. There will also be sessions on physical line production, as well as case studies on completed animation projects.

Consulting experts for this year’s edition include Sebastien Onomo (Final Touch Studios), Simon Quinn (Big Fat Studio), Martin Popp (Magic Light Pictures) and Marleen Slot (Viking Movie).

Manufacturers used animation features and serial designs early in development. The selected list is:
