What to wear in the office in winter? We make warm but stylish images

With the onset of winter in our latitudes, the last thing you want to do is get out of the house and put on anything but a comfortable sweatshirt a few sizes larger. What about those whose desires do not match the means and yet have to beat themselves up every morning and get ready for work or school?

Of course, in recent years more and more companies are abandoning the official dress code, giving their employees complete freedom in choosing clothes. But let’s not forget that many still follow conservative rules in the dress code – wear a fitted shirt, jacket, pants or (oh, horror!) pencil skirt. Therefore, the good old principle of “one color in winter and summer” continues to run like clockwork.

Therefore, today we decided to devote the material to a sensitive topic and answer the main question of winter: how to create a fashionable image and not freeze?

We were inspired by images of street style heroes and fashion influencers who skillfully “play” with layering and show off new styling techniques almost daily. Here are three trendy outfits to watch out for.

look number 1

Leather and everything connected with it has not left the pedestal of trends for many seasons. At the shows of the autumn-winter collections, the designers relied on rough, worn embroidery (if you do not understand what it is about, take a look at the looks from the Diesel, Acne Studios and Miu Miu shows). But for the office look, we recommend betting on the classics in the spirit of Bevza, Bottega Veneta or Chloe. In cold weather, basic t-shirts, alcoholic athletes, shirts and sweaters and a leather tracksuit can be worn.

look at number 2

Knitted vest is another win-win option for the office look. It can be worn with both T-shirts and oversized shirts. It is worth wearing a straight-cut suit trousers or a maxi-skirt down, and you can complement the image with boots with a large sole and a coarse sheepskin coat.

Picture number 3

If you’re not a fan of strict office looks, you can replace a sweater or vest with a voluminous cardigan with sheer embroidery (like the pumpkin from STORY mfg, for example). It features a maxi skirt and a free-cut classic blue shirt to complete the accent piece of clothing.
