“We got iPads for some online learning and they spotted memes right away. That’s how it started, my oldest sent me a meme of me,” he shared.

As the second eldest, Joshua quickly adapted to his father’s fame – even faster than James himself.

“My son can sniff it out when we walk into a restaurant and someone recognizes me – a skill that took me about 20 years to learn. And he just gets it: “Dad, the ladies at the table now? You know that.” That’s interesting.”

He tries to get his kids used to the idea of ​​a famous parent by “being very honest about all my experiences with it, what it means and what it doesn’t mean.”

The family moved to Austin in September 2020 during the coronavirus lockdown and have been living happily ever since.

‘We love it. We have a lot more space,” he told Fox News Digital earlier this year. “We all need a more direct connection with nature. It was a really big step and the children are very happy.”

He recently explained, “I know it really centered me, and I feel like it grounded the kids and gave them a different kind of education that we could never give them in a classroom.”
