To update: NBC News reports that an audio recording provided by former President Donald Trump’s spokesperson shows that he did not appear on the set of Pierre Morgan’s interview, as reported by some publications.
The interview with Morgan is part of a marketing campaign to generate a new Talk TV show that airs Monday.
According to NBC News, the audio shows the two men thanking each other and laughing at the end of the interview.
“It was a wonderful interview,” Morgan said of the audio.
Trump agrees with the “yes”.
“Thank you very much. I really appreciate that,” Morgan said.
