Stampede Ventures joins Cara Fano, Grant Torre and Amelia Mysko operationally, creatively and internationally

EXCLUSIVE: Stampede Ventures has promoted Cara Fano to vice president of content and operations, Grant Torre to vice president of film development and production, and Amelia Mysko to director of international development.

Both Fano and Torre have been with the global media company since its inception. Mysko, on the other hand, quickly worked her way up the ranks at Stampede after joining the company as an intern.

In her new role, Fano will lead Stampede’s social, marketing, PR and brand collaborations, as well as all of its joint venture partnerships, including HappyNest, the JV with UTA that develops and produces animated content for children and families. Fano will also oversee creative activities under CEO Greg Silverman and oversee hiring and onboarding, reporting to both Silverman and president Chris Bosco.

Torre will continue his journey in production and development by packaging and producing feature films. His focus is working with Stampede’s creative team to find untold stories with a focus on diverse voices, such as the recently announced Anderson .Paak film K POP!, as well as scripts and packaging with cast and directors. He reports to Silverman and executive producer Jon Berg.

Mysko will oversee development, packaging and manufacturing for Stampede’s International Slate, including a first-look deal with CBS International. She will also form a joint venture with KOJO Studios in Australia and will help source, package, develop and produce Stampede’s international projects. Mysko reports to JP Sarni, head of international content and global IP acquisitions.

Fano, formerly chief of staff at Stampede Ventures, is co-producing the upcoming comedy space cadet with Emma Roberts. She started her career at Warner Bros. started as an assistant to Silverman – then president of creative development and world production – and was promoted to story editor and later director of film and TV development after he left to found Stampede. .

Prior to his promotion to the Stampede, Torre was the company’s head of development. The new director’s ongoing projects include the Netflix animated musical Prince of Port au Prince starring Wyclef Jean space cadeta project he worked on from pitch to production, on which he serves as co-producer.

Mysko most recently worked as a manager at Stampede Ventures, having joined the company as an intern after moving to the US from Australia. It will now offer development in several territories, including Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Western Europe.
