Margot recalled her success after starring in a movie with Leonardo DiCaprio. He had just finished filming the Australian television series Neighbors and the short-lived Pan American series.

“Something was going on in those early stages and it was all pretty scary,” he shared. “I remember saying to my mom, ‘I don’t think I want to do this.’ And she looked at me with a completely expressionless face and said, ‘Honey, I think it’s too late not to do this.’ That’s when I realized the only way was to move forward.”

Margo said one of the reasons she thought about quitting was because she met the paparazzi: “I know how to get through airports and now I know who and in what ways they’re trying to fool me,” she said. : “If my mom dies in a car accident because you wanted to take a picture of me at the grocery store, or you drop my niece off her bike – why? For photography? It’s dangerous, but it still doesn’t change anything.”
