Brothers Matt and Ross Duffer have promised that season five will be the finale that will bring together the highlights of all seasons. The directors announced it on the HBO FYC show (Diversity reports).
Ross Duffer talked about how “in terms of scale” the final episodes will be flamboyant. The creators of the fifth season want to fully reveal the character of each character. “Every time we introduce a new character, we want to ensure that they become an integral part of the story. We often think, “We need a character here for this story to really work.” But every time we do this, we get back because we already have a great cast and characters. Every time we develop a new character, we take time from one of the other players. That’s why we really pay attention to who we represent,” Matt Duffer said earlier.
And before, the writers shared alternative stories that were not in the series.
