The Disney movie studio raises important issues with its projects. It is especially noteworthy that the film company has recently created cartoons that make you think not only of children, but also of adults. Recently, The Walt Disney Company CEO, Robert Chapek, said he’s considering adding more R-rated content to Disney+. “Maybe we should listen to our audience – it means we have a lot more freedom than we probably think,” a representative of the company said. And it seems that the movie studio is following this rule.
So, an announcement video of the upcoming project called Reflect (“Reflection”) about the girl named Bianca appeared on the Web. The heroine of the cartoon learns to accept her body with a love of ballet. This is the first full-length cartoon character in Disney history.

But that’s not all. As reported in the publication, the cartoon also reveals a serious psychological issue – dysmorphophobia syndrome (a mental disorder in which a person is excessively anxious and preoccupied with a minor defect or feature of his body – Approx. Ed.).
By the way, we recently wrote about the five best original Disney movies. Apparently this is a great reason to revisit them (especially since it’s the weekend).
