Diary of a fashion editor: Gorgeous gloves by Botter, flowers at Cher’s Balmain and the main trend of the coming season

Hello all fashionistas! Your fashion editor is in touch. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to keep an online diary where I would take notes on the most important things in the fashion world. And although such diaries are often called personal, mine are open to all readers – so you are aware of the most important ones.

The Fashion Weeks series is coming to an end, which means that very soon it will be possible to summarize and paint the trends of the next season. But all this awaits us next week.

In the meantime, we invite you to plunge into the atmosphere of Paris, take a look at the magnificent details of the Botter collection, take a look at the legendary Cher on the runway, and finally choose the perfect look for the gym.

Shall we begin?

Flowers are one of the leading trends of the coming season. Do not trust? Then check out the latest collections from Bottega Veneta, Vivetta, Loewe, Acne Studios, Simone Rocha, Erdem and Chopova Lowena. Flowers appear on models’ dresses, tops, shoes and naked bodies. Either in the form of embroidery or as an independent object. It looks very impressive. That’s why we’re definitely taking notes.

It is very difficult for all of us right now. That’s why it’s important to pull yourself together and start a moral rescue operation. The best way to do this is to exercise. So if you’ve been putting off buying a gym membership all this time, now is the time. Well, I’m going to tell you what you need to do to fitness to look your best. Believe me, this is also important for morale. The sexiest jumpsuits, tops and cycling shorts were found in the collection of the Russian brand Fluide. Very Mugler!

This woman in front of you is a witch. I’m almost 100% sure of that because looking like that at 76 is a crime. But back to the news. This Wednesday, the legendary singer Balmain opened his show in the form of a hologram and finally appeared on the runway with the brand’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing. Just look at this image! I personally have no say.

Autumn is associated with a muted color palette for many, and I suggest adding some bright accents. If a rich pink scarf or coat is too much for you, I recommend you consider the jewelry option. Recently, the British jeweler has launched a collection of multicolored stone ear cuffs and earrings called LAV’Z Glacier (translated from French as “glacier”). When creating Glacier, a soft gradient of multicolored stones was used in three versions: pink, green and purple. Pink is the color of tenderness, love, care and femininity. Green is the color of life, peace, good luck and health. Purple is the color of energy, spirituality and mystery.

This Tuesday, the entire fashion community heatedly discussed the show of the Botter brand’s new collection. And not because it was a success (which, by the way, is true). The attention of all the guests, the audience and the media was riveted with gloves, that is, water capsules, on the hands of the mannequins. Of course, everyone here began to wonder what it was and what it was made of. Everything turned out to be simple. For a wow effect, the Botter team used regular condoms! Yes, fashion never ceases to amaze.

Well, a little more about flowers. Russian brand Avgvst has released a collection of daisy-shaped jewelry, each missing a petal. It was designed as a manifestation of the fact that you don’t have to please everyone, you just have to do your own thing. A stubborn flower that will break where it is hard to break. But lately it turned out that this collection is about something else. Now everyone has a torn leaf and you have to hold on somehow. I don’t know about you, but Avgvst daisies are on my wish list.
