“Humble and Committed”: the captain and the coach of the women’s XV of France confide in the first episode of our miniseries

In collaboration with the French Rugby FederationMadmoizelle followed the incredible journey of the women’s XV of France. The opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of ovality and women’s sport in an unreleased podcast creation.

Humble and committed, is the story of women who, despite their differences, manage to come together for a common goal. In this podcast, the team concept, placed at the center of attention, is gutted through six episodes of about thirty minutes. As the Rugby Women’s World Cup approaches, which will take place from 8 October to 12 November in New Zealand, follow the preparation of Les Bleues, from the changing rooms to the lawn.

This is Ines Hirigoyen, sports journalist, who hosts this podcast. She passed by France Television, she was also a journalist on the field during the 2020 Women’s 6 Nations Tournament, covering all the Bleues matches, and this one, for three years.

For this podcast, Inès followed the women’s XV of France in all his adventures : from Marcoussis to New Zealand passing through Nice or even Andorra. Interview with the captain of the XV of France Women

This first episode highlights Gaëlle Hermet, captain of the Bleues, in his leadership role in the locker room, but also on the pitch.
