The Santa Fe County District Attorney’s Office said Alec Baldwin and three others could face charges related to the fatal shooting on the Rust set. It is reported by the New York Times.

Late last month, the New Mexico State Attorney’s Office requested additional funding from officials that may be needed if charges are filed. However, local prosecutor Mary Carmack-Oltvis said the agency has yet to make a decision.
As we wrote earlier, in October 2021, Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin fatally shot cameraman Galina Hutchins on the set of Rust (director Joel Sousa was also injured). Making sure the gun was loaded with empty shells, he fired the propeller gun.

Shortly after the incident, Alec made the first comment that he was “shocked” by what had happened, stating that he was cooperating with the police and was ready to provide any assistance to the deceased’s family. However, not so long ago, the FBI released new details of the case, so it became clear that Baldwin was lying. In the report, the department claims that the pistol requires the trigger to be pulled in order to fire.
