Yesterday, Vladimir Putin, in his morning speech, announced a partial mobilization that will begin on September 21. And today the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced how to do it.

  • to search necessary to complete missions – shooters, tankers, gunners, drivers, driver mechanics;
  • There are no specific conscription orders from the reserve, but priority is given to those with the appropriate military enrollment specialties;
  • The number of soldiers is determined by the regular needs of the completed military units;
  • One of the main factors is the presence of combat experience;
  • By law, recruits and sergeants up to 35 years of age are subject to mobilization, junior officers – up to 50, senior officers – up to 55;
  • There are positions that can be filled by women with relevant military specialties, such as health workers, but the need for such specialists is minimal;
  • Each region has its own mobilization task, which depends on the number of citizens registered in the military register in the region, there is no quota;
  • Citizens called for partial mobilization will receive the status of contract soldiers.

will not be called:

  • Separated citizens, among them employees of defense industry enterprises;
  • Temporarily deemed unsuitable for health reasons;
  • Working in permanent care for a family member or group I disabled person;
  • have 4 or more dependent children under the age of 16;
  • Those who have 4 or more children under 8 years of age other than their mothers and raise them without a husband;
  • If a military pensioner retires (over 65 years of age or due to health reasons) regardless of whether he is affiliated with law enforcement, if he is deleted from the military record, there will be no mobilization;
  • Persons permanently residing outside of Russia and not registered for military service are not subject to conscription, and those who leave for a short time and are registered for military service at their place of residence in Russia can be called up.
