The companies behind the Sundance films “Maika” and “Clemency” collaborate on the list of films destined for the Asian market

Exclusive: EST Studios, a newly incorporated finance, production and sales company, has entered into a co-production partnership with Malaysia and Los Angeles-based ACE Pictures Entertainment for a series of films aimed primarily at the Asian market.

The association says it is evaluating an initial plan for 15 projects to be implemented in collaboration with EST Studios, which includes the sale of some of the films in key markets such as Cannes and Berlin.

The partnership agreement was negotiated by Tenten Wei and Juefang Zhang for EST Studios and Peter Wong and Emma Lim on behalf of ACE Pictures.
